About Big Bath Soaps

Big Bath Soaps was created by Body Detailer Personal Care to make better soaps available to consumers. When developing our big bath soap bars we wanted to address a few complaints consumers had about bath soaps. One of the biggest complaints we heard was that bath soap bars sold in stores typically dissolved quickly which may or may not have actually been a problem depending on how much they cost. We thought that if you buy soaps for a relatively low cost then it doesn't really matter how fast they dissolve; you simply buy them more often. Based on that, we decided to make our bars last much longer to relieve people of the burden of shopping for soap more often.

Another complaint we heard was that soap bars don't lather very well. So when we made our soaps last longer, its also made them lather more. When we compress our soap 5 times, it made them last longer, but we discovered it also made them produce a much creamier lather, especially if you have a water softener. The result was a soap you can't wait to use.

Another complaint we addressed was that soap bars typically made wash clothes stink after a while. Although not everyone uses a wash cloth, we found that some didn't because they just got too smelly in the shower. To eliminate this problem, we decided not to use tallow to make our soaps. Because tallow is a rendered form of beef or mutton fat , we thought just maybe that had something to do with the stink problem. After all, who wants animal fat sitting in a dark shower on a wash cloth.

Another complaint we heard was that soap bars dry your skin out too much. Although that is a big problem with soap in general, its a problem we eliminated when making our big bath soaps. We decided to put moisturizing ingredients in our soap that our skin needs to not dry out and that's when we found a problem related to cost. It was possible to make a moisturizing soap bar but it was not going to be a cheap bar but we went ahead anyway and made it the best we could without cost being a factor in our decision. We ultimately decided that because we made our big bath soaps not dissolve quickly, we made them not stink up a wash cloth, we made them produce much creamier lather and we made them moisturize skin, that its the way soap should be made and we decided to sell them at the lowest possible cost we could.

That's the story of our Big Bath Soaps.
